Server Log Files

STRATO, as the provider of the pages, automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files that your browser automatically transmits to us. This data cannot be assigned to specific individuals. A combination of this data with other data sources is not made. STRATO reserves the right to retrospectively check this data if specific indications of illegal use become known.

Since STRATO requires IP addresses to detect and prevent attacks, these are stored unmasked for a maximum of seven days. As website operators, we cannot disable this – otherwise, STRATO would not be able to trace the origin of attacks and protect other internet users. However, we, as website operators, cannot view such non-anonymized IP addresses.
