Vela is a skincare CGI case study built to show how packaging, hero visuals and campaign-ready product imagery can be developed entirely in 3D before physical samples exist.
The goal behind Vela was simple: create a launch-ready visual direction for a skincare product before physical production and photography. That meant developing packaging, product materials, hero stills and a reusable CGI setup that could support future brand communication.
Every image shown in this case study is fully rendered in 3D.
The hero render was designed to establish the product’s premium tone through controlled lighting, clean silhouette and strong material separation. The aim was not just to make the product look polished, but to give the brand a central image it could build around.
For a skincare product, material accuracy does most of the heavy lifting. Frosted glass, internal liquid, label finish and subtle surface response were all developed to feel controlled, soft and premium rather than glossy or overdesigned.
The result is a render system that feels closer to high-end product photography than to generic concept CGI.
Useful for presenting a product before samples, studio photography or final manufacturing are available.
Packaging, label behavior and product materials can be developed together instead of in separate production steps.
One calibrated 3D setup can support hero visuals, crop variants, close-ups and future extensions.
Once the product exists as a clean CGI scene, new formats, variants and launch assets can be developed more efficiently.
I work with brands and agencies on product visualization, packshots, launch assets and motion. If you already have packaging, references or early product data, I can help turn them into campaign-ready visuals.
